Assists compressors in starting under adverse conditions such as low voltage or high head pressures. Built-in relay drops out start capacitor at optimum time to avoid excessive heat build up & prevents damage to compressor by NEVER staying in the circuit too long. Correctly replaces over 60 different OEM combinations of start capacitors & potential relays.
Recommended Use:
Single phase 208V, 230V, and 265V A/C, refrigeration and heat pump compressors, KS-1handles compressors used in 3.5-5 ton systems.
